Description

Team Himalaya welcomes all adventurer and trekkers to join in our scenic and classic trekking
to Gokyo & Chola pass to Everest Base Camp Trek for an adventure of a life time experience
with us. The journey strarts with a warm welcome in Kathmandu and then taking a scenic short
flight to Lukla town at 2,820 meters, the door to many adventure and cultural journey in the
Khumbu region of Everest.From Lukla we trek towards famous Namche Bazaar and within
Sagarmatha National Park listed in World Heritage Sites as world’s highest park as well.
Sagarmatha National Park one of the world’s highest park covering an area of 1,148 sq. kms.
Sagarmatha National Park, located to the Northeast of Kathmandu in the Khumbu region of
Nepal. The park includes the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest or Sagarmatha in Nepali, and
several other well-known peaks such as Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyo, Pumori, Ama Dablam,
Thamserku, Kwangde, Kangtaiga and Gyachung Kang. The park was listed as World Heritage
Sites in 1979.
From Namche Bazaar after acclimatization,we head towards complete wilderness at Gokyo Lake
with amazing panorama of world’s highest peaks looking above from Gokyo Ri at 5,357 meters,
are an awesome views of world’s number one Mt. Everest 8,848 m, fourth Mt. Lhotse 8,516 m,
fifth Mt. Makalu 8,463 m and sixth highest Cho-Oyu 8,201 meters with adjoining peaks of
Nuptse, Thermasharkhu, Kwangde, Kangtenga including majestic and beautiful Mt. Ama
Dablam .From here our journey heads to cross a high scenic Tsho-la at 5,367 meters pass and
towards world’s highest Mt. Everest base camp and climb of Kalapathar at 5,545 meters the
highest spot of this adventure ,with mind blowing panorama of the Everest at stone throw
distance. After life altering time in the high side of Everest area, we walk back to cultural area at
Pangboche village and to Tengboche Monastery with alluring views of high mountains including
Mt. Everest, Lhotse that surrounding the monastry, from here we head back trekking through
pristine forest of rhododendron, birch, pines and fir trees with chances of seeing wildlife
Himalayan Thar, Musk Deer and Pheasants.
After an interesting time at Gokyo & Chola pass to Everest Base Camp Trek ,the trek heads towards
Lukla with cherishable and enjoyable memories amidst the high valleys and mountains of Khumbu in
Everest Gokyo area. A scenic short flight brings you back to Kathmandu with a memorable journey and

• • Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
  • Day 02: Fly to Lukla 2,830 m & trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 04 hrs.
  • Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.
  • Day 04: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
  • Day 05: Trek to Khumjung 3,790 m with Khunde 3,880 meters – 04 hrs.
  • Day 06: Trek to Dole 4,200m – 06 hrs.
  • Day 07: Trek to Machermo 4,410m -04 hrs.
  • Day 08: Trek to Gokyo 4,790m -04hrs.
  • Day 09: Morning hike to Gokyo-Ri and trek to Thangnag 4,750 m – 04 hrs.
  • Day 10: Cross Tsho –la pass 5, 367m and to Dzongla 4,850 m – 06 hrs.
  • Day 11: Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m – 05 hrs.
  • Day 12: Trek to Gorak Shep 5,170 m and to Everest Base Camp 5,364 m /17,594 ft and to Gorakshep – 07 hrs.
  • Day 13: Hike to Kala Patthar 5,545 m and to Pheriche 4, 230m – 06 hrs.
  • Day 14: Trek to Tengboche 3,867m – 05 hrs.
  • Day 15: Trek to Monjo 2,840 m through Namche Bazaar – 06 hrs.
  • Day 16: Trek to Lukla – 05 hrs with afternoon free at leisure.
  • Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.
  • Day 18: In Kathmandu full day sightseeing tour.
  • Day 19: Final international departure for homeward bound.
